I have friends who are die-hard scientists and believe proof, proof, and proof are the only things acceptable for 'truth.' I also have friends who are very into the metaphysical world, where scientific data is a limited view of the universe. What I find intriguing is that the two views are diametrically opposed yet saying the same things in regards to the galaxy and the earth's history and future. For me when two oppositional views are asserting the same things, then there is reason to seriously take notice.
