Like Vort, I was riveted to the stories and thoroughly enjoying the unravelling of the GRAAL tale. It's been a great way to convalesce after waking up on Christmas day with the flu. Peredur's slaughter of the Red Knight is satisfying as there's nothing more pleasing to me than seeing a bully get his own. Modron's dream sequence is haunting and the ambiguities intriguing. I look forward to seeing where it leads her. Merlinus's network of caves is a fabulous illustration of how the Otherworld travels. The portals are everywhere and take many forms, but Merlinus chooses to travel through underground passages that link the caves whose mouths are one of the many portals described in Celtic myth. And Arianwen's playful handling of Peredur and her Morcant taking him to the Roman baths is great fun. I've enjoyed reading all the GRAAL posts to date and can't wait to read more, like what will happen when Artoros sees someone sitting in HIS chair and what his reactions will be to Merlinus, Modron and Nimue telling him he's a fool, how much fun Arianwen will have dressed as a boy, where the quest for Bran's head will take this merry band of adventurers and so forth. *stands and claps*
