Our next woman of wonder lived during the late 10th and early 11th century. As a young girl, she received an education almost equivalent to her contemporary male peers. In her 20s she was married to an elderly relative. They had one daughter. After her husband's death, she was brought to court as a lady in waiting. Her real claim to fame came from her writing ability and her skill at composing poetry. She is considered by many to be the world's first novelist.

Do you know who this is?
