E. Morricone! I just got his soundtrack to Sacco & Vanzetti, a movie I never heard of before, but Joan Baez sings on it, and it's sublime.

Oh, I'm an Elfman fan, too, but for my money, Morricone is the MAN! If you have any doubts, just go listen to the soundtrack of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
