I dont know the name of these flowers but I picked a few growing by the sidewalk to take home and photograph. The first image shows the flowers, the second shows a closeup into the center of the flower with a part of the central stamen and the third image shows the inside of the flower with the central stamen removed for a better view. I used the macro setting for close ups on my canon digital camera which was positioned on automatic.
