Yes, images which are uploaded in .jpg format shows up as black/white on homepages etc because of a server problem. Unfortunately that problem is not under Jot´s jurisdiction, he can´t do anything about it and though petitions have been sent off, we will have to suffer the problem for a while yet.

We can always delete the .jpg format pics and upload them in .gif format instead but for those of us who have limited image space, that might cause a too quick depletion of it. What remains is to make careful priorities of what we chose to upload and in some cases there is always the possibility to link in pics from outside servers.
