ANTIOCH MOSIACS

I return to Antioch, a city where in the past, my fortune was made. Now, though I seem to be land poor, I seek a health cure, and a spiritual quest. Numerous healing springs are to be found at Daphne, our suburb south of Antioch. The famous spas and 'Sanctuary of Apollo' are located here, near the source of these springs. Two Roman aqueducts carry water to the city. Kastalia carries fresh water to Antioch and Pallas to Daphne.

Having lived for many years on Delos it is really a treat to enjoy the change of climate. There is nothing like the curative that these waters provide. How we labored to make a garden on Delos, when here everything thrives. We now live in the lap of luxury.
