 Welcome! This is my family's country farm, which goes back past my great great-grandfather's time. He survived the Spartan attack in 431 and was granted a different farm when the Spartans destroyed both his vines and hacked down all his olive trees. As you see, the house is plain, but we have sturdy grape vines on almost 60 hectares, and the olive trees are now generations old and producing well. Aristophanes aside, most of my neighbors are also small to moderate farmers, and Athens - which is only 7 miles away - is one of their primary markets. So we do get frequently to the big city!
