The Floating Gallery

It is the hottest part of summer, and yet, anchored here under the trees, with the morning mist as cool as it can be, each houseboat in its own fresh circle of air, we can bear it until the autumn comes! And then these warm summer evenings, when we move from boat to boat to greet our friends, will make many tales for the cold winters.

Many of us here are friends, and we chose to meet at this time of year, to share our food, our recipes, our tales - our friends, or relations - our art, our lives - to celebrate the Hungry Ghost Festival. Oh, you don't know about the Hungry Ghosts? We are here to share with them, and with you.
