Tomb Of My Beloved Te Te.
![]() What can I say about my beloved girl? I got her when she was six weeks old from a friend. No one wanted her because she was a female and they would have to pay to get her fixed. I on the other hand did not care about that, I fell in love with that little ball of fur with the deep blue eyes the first time I saw her! On her first night she spent with her daddy she cried when the lights went out and she was in her little bed all alone. I got out of bed and picked her up and went back to bed. That is where she slept for the next fourteen years. She was a playful kitten and was always into something where she should not be. She loved to chew on cellophane and I had a hard time keeping it away from her. She hated swallowing pills. No matter what I did she was not fooled and always got away from taking them. I finally gave up and had the vet give me the liquid form of the medicine. I do not know why they even make pills for cats they refuse to take them! Her nickname was "Toe Biter". She would run out from some hiding place and gently bite your big toe whichever one was available! I had my sweet babu for fourteen years and loved her every minute. A neighbor came knocking at my door one morning and told me that my beloved Te Te was laying dead in her front lawn. I went over and picked her up in my arms and brought her home. I sat on the couch with her in my lap and cried like a baby for over an hour. I laid her on the couch and went to PetCo and bought her a nice casket. When I got home I cleaned my baby up. Put her in the casket along with her toys, a bottle of water, a can of wet food, a package of dry food. I also put in her food dishes and water bowl. I then wrote a letter telling who she was and how long she lived and how much I loved her. I put this in a freezer bag and sealed it and put it in the coffin with her. My beloved girl is buried under a walnut tree at my family's property, I will always miss her! Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together... (Author unknown)
