Build a new Property in Caer Lud
The Week-end Bothie
Caer Lud is a good place for a holiday, a country retreat away from the hurly-burly of stressful life in our tribal capital of Camulos Fortress, my family and I, head for the country most week-ends, surrounded by trees and wild life, Caer Lud is the ideal holiday location, you can picnic by the tranquility of the river Temms. You can leave your bothan unlocked, safe in the knowledge that you are surrounded by thinly scattered, but friendly tribes.

The Trinovantes were the Iron Age tribe to inhabit the London area, before the Romans. Despite intensive excavations, archaeologists have found no sign of a prehistoric settlement, there has been scattered prehistoric finds, and evidence of early farming, burial and traces of habitation, but nothing substantial. In Bronze Age times, London was most likely a rural area with small scattered settlements.
In the time of emperor Claudius, Londinium began to take shape, the Roman army turned a grassy marshland, dominated by two hills, into a fortified Roman stronghold on the banks of the river Thames. At the time of the Roman exodus of 410AD, the Roman Colonia of Londinium, was surrounded by great walls and ditches, with large gates, being the only access. The Roman city covered an area of approximately one square mile. To this day, the city itself is still referred to as, 'the square mile'.
