The Colchester Bothie.
Most Celts live in round house, with the doorway facing the rising sun, some round house were wattle-and-daub, some were made of stone, I have no windows, but the roof is made of thick
thatch of reeds, straw and heather.
Bread was baked on a flat stone in the hearth, where we have made a beehive-shaped oven out of local clay. There are knives for cutting, but we have no forks, instead we eat with our fingers. We have spoons, but bread is used to mop up the gravy and juice from our plates.
