	IN OBEDIENCE TO THE COMMAND OF THE SACRED ORACLE AND IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE GAMES IN WHICH HE PARTICIPATED DURING THE APOLLONA FESTIVAL THIS SHRINE IS ERECTED IN SELEUCIA PIERIA NEAR THE GREAT AGORA AND DEDICATED TO THE LORD APOLLO OF DELPHI BY MAURICIUS FABIUS a.d. XV KAL. MAI. a.u.c. MMDCCLXI

This monument consists of one large room divided into three sections
containing souvenirs of Mauricius Fabius’ journey to Delphi for the Festival.
At the end of this room a door opens into the Hall of Praise. Visitors may
leave an offering, a paean or comments in the Book of Offerings.
