Main image: Wallpainting from the tomb of the physician Ankh-Mahor at Saqqara , c. 2330 - 2500 BCE. The translation of the image reads:
Patient: "Please do not hurt me."
Physician: "I will work so that you shall praise me."

Welcome to the house (and surgery) of Niankh Sekhmet, physician of Dionysias!

If this is a purely social call and you aren't in need of my professional services, please feel free to make yourself at home in the Waiting Room. My assistant Sennedjem will bring you some date wine as soon as he's recovered from his faint (he dislikes blood....). Incidentally, I get the wine from my friend Seti who runs the Drunken Croc bar here in Dionysias - his establishment provides me with most of my patients as well as the refreshments!

The Treatment Room is for the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of various ailments. Whether you want health advice, a medical prescription, something sawn off or sewn back on, or simply a ceremonial circumcision - this is the place! *cracks knuckles cheerfully*

Sadly, although my references are excellent (and not very forged), the efforts of even the best physician may not suffice to keep ka and ha together. In that event, my resourceful assistant Sennedjem maintains a House of Anubis where he will make sure you or your loved one is well-prepared for a safe passage.
