The caves at Ephesus are holy places to both Christians and Muslims. Among them is the cave of the seven sleepers. Here it is said that seven young men were walled inside during the reign of Decius for suspected Christianity and slept for 300 years until they were awakened during the reign of Theodosius into a Christian Ephesus.
