Tianguez
Tianguez or Tianguis is a word derived from the Nahua or Aztec language, used to describe an open public market. Tianguez has also been related to Quito, the capital of modern Ecuador. This region has three main geographic areas: the coast, the mountains, and the eastern part, which comprises an Amazonian rainforest area, plus an insular region comprising the Galapagos Islands.
Tianguez, our community here in Americas, is developing around a border settlement, with an active "great market", next to the Amazonian rainforest area.
