Just a few rule remainders
dateline: Aug 14, 2004 - 12:12

for a good and polite group management and participation, courtesy of Desdemona.

I added a few my own comments, a reminder of a few basic rules.

1. On editing and deleting posts

A post will not be edited or delted without prior approval of the person who wrote it.
If and when this is needed the author will always be asked and given a chance to do it him/herself.
However, since there is a time limit for editing posts help will always be provided to anyone that needs it,you only need to ask.

There are however certain exceptions...
Such as: If a post is offencive to others in the group,or peole in general any of the highed levels may and will delete it after letting you know of this, and only when the author refuses to do so.

Im sure that everyone here agrees that we want the best group possible, therefore if and when a problem such as this arrises we do reserve the right to make the changes necesary.
I hope you all understand this and agree.

If for any reason any member feels they have been treated unjustly by anyone we want you all to feel comfortable enough to turn to any of the leaders and let them know what has happened.

I for one want all of you to feel that you all have an equal say and want to know how you feel.
So dont ever hesitate to give your opinion.

I believe that no matter the level of a member all opinions will be equally respected and I hope that all possible problems will be handled in the best and most diplomatic way.

I hope this answers any questions any of you may have regarding the editing and deletion policy of any posts.

2.On creation of threads and boards

Any of the higher level (4 and up) can and will help anyone to bring a new subject to light.
We are here to help.
What we only ask is that small suggestion on the new subject is posted in the Witan, so that everyone will have an equal say and be able to show their interest, this way we will be able to avoid empty threads if there is little interest in the subject.
This does however not mean that only popular subjects may be added, again we encourage any and all discussions.

So if anyone ever wants to bring something new to light please let any of us know and we will gladly help

Now, a group is an informal gathering of people who like to discuss the particular subject a group deals with. Respecting rights of other will improve the atmosphere and allow us all to have fun in a friendly manner. Otherwise, unnecessary argument may come about and i do not think any of us want to argue.

So most of all -respect and let others respect you.
