Treasures from the Orient

The Orient's Hungry Ghost Festival is brilliant! The enjoyment and and amount I have learned from the articles and houseboats I have visited so far remind me of why I joined AncientWorlds. It's a very creative project and so good to see a community developing in the Grand Canal.
I took a walk through the enchanting Tanabata Wishing Grove and found this gorgeous memento:

I scored 80% in the Airmid's Well Imbolc herb quiz! Who knew I had such knowledge of "foreign devil" herbs?

The Celt have also introduced the charming custom of tying a ribbon or strip of cloth to one of Brigid's sacred bushes in return for a blessing. I am apparently very lucky because she gave me this one:
