My real name is Anna and I live in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm interested in ancient and modern languages and ancient medicine. Apart from English I've also studied French, Spanish, German and Turkish. I have a small collection of herbal remedies and my great-great grandmother and grandfather were what in Sweden is known as a "wise man" and "wise woman". That is, people went to them instead of to a doctor to get a cure for different kinds of illnesses but also if, for instance, a cow didn't give milk. (This was in the 19th century and public health care wasn't exactly what it is today). I'm very proud to say that I can trace my ancestry on my father's side back until 1570 when Jean Joes Henin was born in Wallonia in present-day Belgium. At the turn of the century 1500-1600 he came to Sweden and ever since then we've lived in or around the landscape of Uppland, just north of Stockholm.
