New Egyptological Articles in the Per of Neseret Sekhmet Posted at 13:00 EST
For those of you who wonder what is the purpose and scope of my dissertation at Oxford, you can read the original proposal submitted to Oxford here.

I have recently uploaded a new online Egyptology article within the past week, to the /Smsw mAfd.t/ website, concerning the unusual coffin for a pet cat from the New Kingdom. You can now access the article on the The Coffin of The She-Cat of Crown Prince Thutmose.

Hope you enjoy!

Welcome from Neseret Sekhmet Posted at 15:45 EST
Ancient Egypt evokes an air of mystery, with promises of hidden knowledge, strange gods with heads of beasts, and monolithic structures whose purposes escapes mortals.

In reality, the study of ancient Egypt is like that of any culture's history: what we need to understand is the mindset of these fascinating ancient peoples - from their point of view.

Over the next week or so, I hope to answer questions, show you some interesting websites which are entertaining and reliable, and perhaps change what you think you know about ancient Egypt into something even MORE fulfilling.

Let the journey begin...
