1. They are small
2. They look cute as babies, and cuter as grownups
3. They have hair, not fur
4. They don't shed
5. They like a good game
6. Under all that hair, they look like dogs
7. They think they are big dogs
8. They think they are humans
9. They easily learn how to behave and you can take them anywhere
10. They fly in the cabin of airplanes
11. They can be smuggled into a theater
12. Half a pound of meat and rice will feed them for a week
13. They are good conversationalists. Our fault that half of the time we don't understand what they're saying
14. When they are ill, you can carry them to the vet without breaking your own back in the process
15. They can be as fierce as any big dog (give one a bone and then try to get it back from him)
16. You're still on your two feet after they welcome you home
17. Children are usually not afraid of them (but they sometimes are afraid of children)
18. Strangers in the street want to pet them
19. They don't take up your whole bed at night - just half of it
20. You can sit on your own couch even while they're using it :-)
