How to make the entire masthead vanish
|

Using a few of Arachne's posted style sheet codes and
finagling them, I managed to make the entire masthead (white section - top of the page) vanish. Compare the top of my entry and courtyard with the remaining two-three rooms. Looks different in each browser... Sometimes the fonts carry, sometimes they don't. My previous CSS was cross browser friendly but this one isn't, well not completely. I'm currently testing it in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Netscape.
Can you please leave me a note and tell me how it looks in your browser or anything else that will help perfect it? Because it sort of removes the AW~ness from my self~professed AW addict home, I'm not really sure if I like it or how long it will stay. Figgered I would play around a little. Will you leave a message... tell me what you think?
PS.. Let's share the code when we are sure it won't spontaneously combust every visiting browser. *wry smile* |

Laurels to Laurels ~ a letter

Dear Laurels~
I just
wanted to stop in and say, for the record, that you have done more with
Arachne's Web than I could ever have dreamed. I am so thrilled to have found you
last year... and relieved to see, that of the many groups I took part in
leading, Arachne's Web has risen beyond all my expectations. Thank you so much
for making it shine bright as the Ancient sun over Akhet~Aten... and for
honoring me as Weaver II. Wow. Dear Lady, you truly are Arachne.
Proud to be a arachnids
*chuckle*~ * AzureEyes Ramesses
As many of you know, I have been on hiatus for about a year, dealing with personal issues. During the past few months... managed to regain my footing somewhat and am trying to make my way "back home", a little at a time. It is such a relief to see what Laurels, Hap, Ladee and the other gurus have done to raise baby. This added note is just a small token of gratitude to all of you for making it so. |
