This is what the sky mostly looked like last night,calm and unexpectantly free of clouds.
At least for most of the night.
It was so peaceful and wonderful *s*



When the clouds came in I was sure I would miss it all,but I did manage to get this great shorts.
One would think that comet would be white or yellow but last night they looked almost red.
Not something I was expecting.

I know that the pictures do not do last night justice,but...wow it was wonderful!

I write this as I sit here by the sea watching the stars.
The night is a bit cloudy so I don’t have perfect visibility, but it’s good enough to allow me to see a meteor or two every now and then.
Most of the meteors are faint, as the sun usually does not stay down long in Europe at this time of year, of course the damn clouds do not help much either.

Thanks to people in AW I’ve been able to stay up all night.
Some have gramed me to keep me company in this lonely place, some I have had great chats with as I sit here

I’m surrounded by forest, the smell or pine linger heavy in the air. The water infront of me makes the softest most wonderful noise, no one around, just me, my cameras and my laptop. It’s humming is the only thing to break the perfect harmony of this place, but not even that can ruin the moment.

A meteor just fell.
What is it they say? Wish upon a star?
If that is true then I may get many wishes this night.

I see names of friends pop in an out of AW, it’s odd to be so close and yet so far away from civilisation right now.

Thank god for hot chocolate! It is wonderful on a night like this one.

The wind beating against my hair would be a nuisance any other time, one would think, but tonight it makes for the perfect scenery.

Pictures download to my laptop every few seconds, thanks to those clouds I’m sure most wont be as good as one would like.
But something should come out of it.

Ah well! I will get back to my cameras now, they next peek seems to be approaching.
