Memory Haikus Posted at 01:00 EST
Everything is gone,
Nothing more left, except a
Foggy memory.

Quickly time passes,
one does not know about it,
Until it is gone.

And all that is left,
we cling on to in our minds,
Wanting time reversed.

Pensively smiling,
Back at the long lost times,
and happier moments.

The earth keeps spinning,
Temporarily reflecting,
We must go on too.

Winter Haikus Posted at 01:00 EST

The frosty weather,
Fallen leaves lie on the ground,
The bitter cold reigns.

Birds have gone hiding,
As I walk through my garden,
The sound of silence.

Forever chilly,
The fire does little to warm,
Cold, sleepless and sad.

Rain falls from the sky,
A miserable wet day,
The heavens weeping.

Trees are naked bare,
No more green clothing their boughs,
Eeriness all round.

Snow falls gently down,
Flakes are soft, cold and gentle,
Melts on touching me.
