The Orient Goldfest 2006 Posted at 08:00 EST
This year again we had lots of work but it was worth it. I had lots of fun with the shops and working with some new people I didn't even knew much before and now they are dear friends. Since I didn't had the time to shop yesterday, I make a little visit to Edo this morning and brought with me all I wanted since everybody was asleep.*eh eh eh*

:: I prefer Darjeeling Tea ::

Darjeeling tea has traditionally been prized above all other black teas and is widely considered the "champagne" of teas. It is generally a lighter afternoon tea, but it depends on the time of year the leaves are harvested.

When properly brewed, Darjeeling tea yields a thin-bodied, light-colored liquor with a floral aroma and somewhat astringent, tannic characteristics, as well as a spiciness often referred to by tea connoisseurs as "muscatel." The infusion is bright, tending to be slightly pale and greenish.

My father Posted at 11:00 EST
Last december my father was complaining about some pain he had on his right side. He thought it was appendicitis.
A couple of weeks later he was diagnosed with colon cancer with metastases in the liver and the peritoneum. He had a chirurgical intervention late february to remove his tumor. Everything was going fine until his first session of chimiotherapy. Two days after, another chirurgical intervention was needed. My father just wasn't physically capable of enduring the treatement. His chances for survival just ended right there.
Today, his doctor told me that the metastases reached his brain. I tried to talk with him on the phone but he cannot really speak or even move. He has 54 years old...

First day! Posted at 18:00 EST
Orient is finally open! I just cannot believe it. I waited for this for years. The fact of being able to make part of something new is always exciting.
