…………………There’s this old folklore
………………About the crab & its kids
……………Try teaching its children
…………How to walk a straight path
………Daddy crab said now to its kids
……Children, follow like I walk
There the daddy crab goes
..Stepping from side to side
…….The eldest kid crab argued
……………Daddy, you ain’t going straight
…………..….You’re walking in a zigzag way
……………….Daddy crab annoyed and said
…………….Hush now, you ain’t know none
………Just follow like I tell you to do
…Daddy goes on, walking the same
Walking in zigzag from side to side
The other kid crabs were too scared
…..To be telling their daddy’s groove
……They just follow the zigzag way
………..And tries not to anger the daddy
……………..Tailing the daddy, zigzag they go
…………….…As time went by, kid crabs grew
…….……Had their own kids to raise up
………And they be teaching the same too
..Children, follow like I walk
There the daddy crab goes
………Stepping from side to side
…………….Time after time, it repeated
………………….New daddy said the same too
……………………….Walk on straight like I do
