since last I jotted down some thoughts. How do I let time just slip away from me, when I know that it seems to pass ever faster the older I get. I am not sure quite when I started to notice the difference, but it was as if one day I suddenly woke up and discovered that so much of my life has come and gone, though there is still much to enjoy and to discover.

I just have to make sure that I take the time every day to really ensure that it is spent doing something ..at least one thing that I love doing .....that I adore doing.....oh, wait....one thing I always enjoy is reading. I did that today. I love to write. I did that today. I love to eat. *sigh*.. I did that today, though I am not sure that I enjoyed it. It's just something that I have to do to ensure that I continue to exist. There are times when I really enjoy eating, such as when I eat out with friends and family, or when there is something really tasty on the table, such as comfort food or something chocolate.

I used to love traveling, though I am not sure that I really enjoy doing that so much any more. It's just not as much fun as it used to be. So much hassle and so much redtape to deal with. Not that I plan on stopping traveling, but I just won't do as much as I used to do in the past.

So much for reality. Reality keeps intruding... and so I have no time to write.

Well, I'd say that is as good an excuse as any, except that it's really no excuse at all, for if I really wanted to get those words of breathless prose down in my journal, I would.
