Las Comadres Para Las Americas is an informal internet-based group that meets monthly in many US cities to build connections and community with other Latinas. Since April of 2000 we have been building relationships, doing business together, helping each other find jobs, sharing news and introducing comadres and learning about/celebrating our Latinidad. We are creating "legacy" programs to provide educational opportunities that lay the foundation of wealth, health and making our voices heard. Come and join over 10,000 Latinas who connect with their comadres every day.

Buffy Sainte-Marie - Up Where We Belong
Who knows what tomorrow brings
In a world, few hearts survive
All I know is the way I feel
When it's real, I keep it alive
The road is long, there are mountains in our way
But we climb a step every day
CHORUS
Love lift us up where we belong
Where the eagles cry on a mountain high
Love lift us up where we belong
Far from the world we know, up where the clear winds blow
Some hang on to "used to be"
Live their lives, looking behind
All we have is here and now
All our life, out there to find
The road is long, there are mountains in our way,
But we climb them a step every day
CHORUS
Time goes by
No time to cry
Life's you and I
Alive, today
CHORUS
