Welcome to my lodge

The lodge is but a place to sleep and store objects. It is in the forest that I live. The gentle winters of Kituwah territory are passed in the lodge. The summer is for the forest and the lake. My courtyard is the property of all and all are equal owners here. It is not my courtyard, it is ours and here we may speak. If I am away, you may leave talking leaves on the page of the lodge.

Take the drinking gourd. The waters of the lake are clear and clean as the rain. Refresh yourself. There are wild plums and apples in the basket made from the reeds which grow beside the water. All these things are of the forest and are rightfully yours as well as mine. Here we are all a part of the same forest. We are one with it, you and I.
