The Viking

A powerful radiance is felt instantly.
Flames of passion dance in his eyes.
He makes my heart ache with desire.
His words are music to my soul
That fill me with love and longing.
His mind holds the wisdom of the ancients.
His heart holds compassion and love.
His lips hold a promise of sensual delights.
His arms provide security and warmth.
He is as humble as a beggar on the street,
Yet as noble as a Viking chief.
There is a sense of mystery about him;
But his life, he has opened for me to see.
He is truly a beautiful and amazing man;
He is the best of all my dreams.
I will love him throughout eternity.
With not part, but with all that is me.

The Viking

From the Halls of Valhalla
there came a man
who had lived many times

From the fields of Annwn
there came a woman
who had shared those lives
as kith and kin

but never had their bodies cleaved

He had lived and died in battle
She had lived and died by fire
Both had learnt the ways
of gods and men

Born to ritual and versed in love
they wandered, these fey two
amongst humans learning
of greed, lust, cynacism
Corruption of the Soul

Dispairing she gave into vices
Slowly her soul lost its luminescence

He saw her and knew
She saw him and was shamed

His touch healed her body
His words soothed her mind
His love took her soul
and made it whole

In the Halls of Valhalla
and
In the Fields of Annwn
the gods and their chosen smiled
and prepared the feast.
