My Library is for my historical and academic pursuits. Here you will find a collection of posts that I have made to historical and academic boards. My particular historical interests in Egypt are too numerous to list here: from the Old Kingdom to the Eighteenth Dynasty in the New Kingdom.

The avatar is a combination of the art of Scottish artist David Roberts and portrait from South African artist Winifred Brunton, both of which I believe are in the area of public domain. The other images are paintings by David Roberts made during trips to Egypt in the 1840's.
The Iunu city plaque is from a painting done by Nineteenth Century Scottish artist, David Roberts, called "Heliopolis." The Prospering Sceptre nome plaque is from a tomb-based rendering of the Barque of Re that I've had in my collection for years. I don't know the artist. It's probably copied from an ancient tomb painting. I added all wording using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0. Some animated graphics are from
Hathor's Realm.
The background came from my collection that I've snagged over the past several years. So do the animated scribes. The balance of the web accessories is courtesy of
