This is a place to relax and have some fun and entertainment. As there is so much going on in these AncientWorlds, I want to point you to some of my current favorite places. Needless to say, these will also be the places you are most likely to find my posts.

There are two nice writing groups: Quill and Parchment, led by Kallistos, where group members can get their own Work in Progress thread. And The Scribe's Palette, where Lotus, as long as she was the group lead, from time to time used to post interesting writing assignments. Fortunately, Dravidia now has taken over. I am sure she will give great new impulses to this group.

There is also a nice reader's group Ex Libris where members discuss books they currently are reading.

Personally I am very attached to the Hellenic Photo Album and the Letters from Crete thread (specifically created for me). And of course I like to participate in the Island and Attic Trivia and others.

The Palaikastro Kouros

There are more fun places. They come and they go. And it is always interesting to see locations that suddenly pick up interest. A good example is the Macedonian Grill, where Kallistos does a lot to make it a nice and relaxing hang-out.

The gods will take you to the Elysian plain, which is at the ends of the world. There fair-haired Rhadamanthys reigns, and men lead an easier life than any where else in the world, for in Elysium there falls not rain, nor hail, nor snow, but Oceanus breathes ever with a West wind that sings softly from the sea, and gives fresh life to all men. (Odyssey IV,564)
