A guide to the Yggdrasil RPG

Yggdrasil: The 'Hood, previously known as Yggdrasil: The Group, is a place where lovers of Germanic and Norse sagas can make their dreams come true by impersonating their favourite characters and having them relive the myths or follow their own storylines.

Thidrek, King of Bern, started out in Yggdrasil as an exile, chased away from his kingdom by his half-brother Eormenric and obsessed by the need to avenge his father Thetmar, who was killed by Thidrek's cousin Amleth the Waetling. And yet, recklessly riding around in search of quests, Thidrek ended up in the service of Amleth's brother Wulder, wearing for him the emblem of the Three Golden Calves in the attempt to recover the Rhinegold. But now, finally, at Widsith's Meodoheall, it seems that fate has finally brought Thidrek face to face with Amleth!

Meanwhile, Thidrek's most faithful retainer and friend, his weapon-master and standard-bearer Hildibrands, who still bears a true Gothic name and carries on the old traditions, is desperately looking for him on Midgard and beyond. Unbeknownst to each other, they are about to meet again at Widsith's Meodoheall... and on opposite sides!
