The House of Ordovices were the ancient and sworn protectors of the island Ynys Môn, the stronghold of the druids. This legendary island is just of the coast from Ordovice territory and along the coast lies several hillforts overseeing the waters surrounding the island. In exchange for the protection given by the Ordovice warriors, the druids protected them against evil spirits and made sure that the gods smiled upon the Brehyrions and their people.

As Iona and many other old strong religious areas had fallen to christian faith, the druids at Ynys Môn still practiced ancient true religion. Enchanting the same gods and spirits as they always had. This Island was indeed a fortress for Lugh and his brothers...
