The Observatory of the Much Put-Upon person of Nimrud Enkidu -- [Entrance ] [Courtyard ] [Library ] [Study ]

Welcome to my Courtyard.

My dear friend, what is that strange smell ? Have you perhaps trodden in some camel blessing ? Oh no, now I see, my mother-in-law Apiltize has followed us into the courtyard.

Do you like what you see ? Not the hanging gardens perhaps, but I have done my best to make this a welcoming environment. Too welcoming perhaps. My dear wife Shishkibaba has invited her brother Nebbersaynebberagain to stay with us indefinitely.

That is him, sitting down painting his toenails underneath the date palms. I believe that he is seriously considering learning to belly dance. If he should offer you some figs I would seriously advise you to decline.

Perhaps you want to see Nebbersaynebberagain dance ? If you would like that dubious pleasure then go into the library.

The Hanging Gardens look particularly impressive today, do they not ? If you like, I could have a little word with the head gardener's mother's auntie's second cousin twice removed, with whom I am friendly, to see if they will give you a guided tour. On the other hand, why not just try this website ?

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon

Dear me, where has my equipment gone ? You'll need to come into the library with me, I am afraid.
