A hem-netjer(female form: hemt-netjer)in the ancient days was a priest, a high priest, who was appointed to serve a particular deity in a temple. He was the main servant for this god and was the only one who was entitled to see the god in his naos face to face.
A hem-netjer may feature work of the members by highlighting it for display on the front page of the group or elswhere. The editor is the head gardener of the works.
