This is the proper place to sign up! Ignore all imitators! So you've heard
the rumours that Kenji-san is looking for a wife and
thought you'd try your luck, eh? Be warned: this contest is not for the
faint of heart. Our esteemed Khantina proprietor may be looking for that
"special someone" to share his life with, but he drives a pretty hard
bargain. You'll have to be bold enough to tell him what makes you so
special. Contest Begins 7 July, with final judging at midnight July 11.
Wooing the Orient way!
Calling all ladies! Kenji Ashikaga, our esteemed - and very cute - Kublai Khantina proprietor, has been travelling the land in search of a blushing bride. And we have decided to "help" by holding a writing contest.
Sharpen your calligraphy brushes, ladies, and unleash those feminine wiles. It's time to show our men what you're made of.
How To Play It's really very simple. All you have to do is brag about yourself in writing. The trick is to tell Kenji why you think you'd make the best wife without scaring him away.
The contest starts on July 7 and ends at midnight of July 11. Before you start writing, be sure to read the Rules of Engagement. Don't forget to sign up on this page to be eligible to win the following prizes: First Prize (1) 5000 stcs Second Prize (2) 3000 stcs Third Prize (3) 1000 stcs All participants will receive a lovely plaque designed by Shibori Murasaka. Disclaimer The winner does not actually win Kenji's hand in marriage...yet. Before hearing those wedding bells ring, she will have to convince our fearless samurai's mother that she's the right woman for the job. And no, that's NOT part of the contest. Even we know where to draw the line.
