The House of Crafts is dedicated to all those who work is blessed by Brighid - metalsmiths, weavers, potters, bakers, cooks, brewers, and all others who create useful and beautiful things. " Brighid's Cross, fashioned from a few dried reeds, has long been a symbol of the craftspeople under Brighid's protection. At the end of the long winter, supplies were scarce. Folks had to "make do" with whatever was left over. It is amazing what can be made from nearly nothing at all. |
