Resources are available to assist: namely, the font "Transliteration Italic" from the Center for Computer-aided Egyptological Reseach and a keyboard reference sheet which can be downloaded as a zip file.
If you haven't already done so, download and add the font to your fonts folder. When you post, you must select the HTML option at the top of the thread and use the font tags to enclose your word/s. The example below shows how to incorporate font tags and chosen text into a thread:
Selected words are: Bakhu (a mountain range), worker, loaf of bread
...and, in < font face="Transliteration Italic">bAXw< /font >, the < font face="Transliteration Italic">bAk< /font > cut up a < font face="Transliteration Italic">pat< /font > as he was hungry...
This 'translates' to:
...and, in bAXw, the bAk cut up a pat as he was hungry...
Spaces have been left within the tags to allow the coding to be visible - these spaces should be removed when posting.
