Staggering, you and Dr. Moony find yourselves in a medium-sized, square-shaped room deep inside the ziggurat. Wondering if this adventure is EVER going to end, you look around at the beautifully decorated walls, which are lit by more torches. (No, you are not insane, it is just that there are ALWAYS lit torches in important rooms at the end of adventures!)

"Oh no, what is going to happen now" Dr. Moony whines, as he looks toward the end of the chamber. You follow his gaze to a small statue in a niche in the back wall.

Startled, you realize it is Nergal himself, god of the netherworld. "Oh damn, this can't be good" you say before you can stop yourself.
Moony's head snaps around to look at you. "Just what do you mean by that?" The Doctor is angry this time. Guess he has had enough of this adventure too.
You clear your throat before saying, "Well, Nergal's decent into the underworld is poignant because, well, because he was never supposed to leave. Something about going 'to the house which those who enter cannot leave, on the road where travelling is one way only'...heh heh heh". You sound crazy even to your own ears. The Doctor, however, seems saner by the minute.
"You mean to tell me we are STUCK down here?" He is not a happy camper.
In the middle of an increasingly insane giggle fit, you move near the statue, noticing it is holding a scimitar in one hand whilst the other is empty, like something is missing.

"Hold on, what's this?" you mumble, suddenly alert. "Dr. Moony, come look at the statue - and no it is not moving" you sigh under your breath.
Moony sidles up, and you both see that there is an impression in the clay, exactly in the shape of the miniature club the Doctor found on his way into the ziggurat oh so long ago.

Suddenly you know what to do...
