Additional cities or sites represented within Mesoamerican hoods

Residents' homes that have been devoted to a city or site within a relevent cultural hood

It would be logistically unfeasible for every single Maya, Aztec, Olmec etc city or historical site to be represented by a dedicated hood. However, many of the hoods in Mesoamerica represent a whole culture rather than the single site of its name. eg Tenochtitlan represents the whole of the Aztec Empire not simply the city of Tenochtitlan itself, La Venta represents the whole of the Olmec culture, Tula represents the the whole of the Toltec culture etc..

Therefore residents of some Mesoamerican hoods have chosen to 'unofficially' devote their homes there to covering some of the related historical sites of the same culture that are unrepresented by their own specific hood. These are listed below, with the name of the 'home owner' in parentheses.

NOTE:: Most of these homes are still under construction at the moment, since its all early days yet!

Aztec/Tepaneca:

  • The Highlands > Tenochtitlan > Azcapotzalco (Sak Biyaan ShieldJaguar)

Teotihuacán/Maya:

  • The Highlands > Teotihuacán > Kaminaljuyu (SpearthrowerOwl Balam)

Maya:

  • The Lowlands > Palenque > Yokib' (Piedras Negras) (Sak Biyaan ShieldJaguar)
  • The Lowlands > Palenque > Yaxchilán (Acolnahuacatzin ShieldJaguar)
  • The Lowlands > Tikal > Dos Pilas (Sak Biyaan ShieldJaguar)
  • The Lowlands > Tikal > Uaxactun (Siyah Kak Balam)
  • The Lowlands > Kalak'mul > Waka' (El Peru) (Azcalxochizin Acamapichtli)
  • The Lowlands > Kalak'mul > Balamkú (Acolnahuacatzin ShieldJaguar)

Olmec:

  • The Highlands > La Venta > San Lorenzo (Sak Biyaan ShieldJaguar)
  • The Highlands > La Venta > Tres Zapotes (Acolnahuacatzin ShieldJaguar)
