BOOLLYWOOD BUZZ

Urgent! Boollywood needs you! We need sponsors to help run the show. How can you become a sponsor and what will you receive in return? First of all, our guarantee that the monsters won't eat you. Mwahahaha!

All sponsors will have their plaques displayed in the Boollywood thread header as links back to their groups, hoods and pubs in exchange for writing short stories or fun articles about one of their world's monsters, or by writing a few roleplay posts at the Gala.

Roleplayers can come as famous or B-list monsters, cheesy actors, gossip columnists (or paparazzi eek!), screen writers, producers, directors, talent scouts, #1 fans, or any other character who might be attracted to the glitz and glamour of a night at the Oscars or Emmys.

Still confused? Goldfest will end in Celtia on October 28 with a gala showcase of eight monsters from our eight AW worlds. Each will receive an award for his or her (its?) stellar performance in one of the famous myths and legends of their world. Everyone is invited to the party. For our sponsors, it's an excellent opportunity to advertise their groups, hoods and pubs.

If you're interested in sponsoring Boollywood, or if you have any questions, please leave a message on my scroll.

BOOLLYWOOD BUZZ

Have you heard the word? Caught the Boollywood buzz? Goldfest will end in Celtia on October 28 with a gala showcase of eight monsters from our eight AW worlds. Everyone's invited! Come as your favourite monster, journalist, #1 fan, or any other character who would attend the Oscars or Emmys. Or if you must, just come as you are. We promise not to eat you. Mwahahaha!

The object of the Boollywood gala? The eight monsters in the limelight are the big Boollywood stars who have been nominated to receive awards for their star roles as "the bad guy" in their world's epic myths. Everyone else is there for his or her (its?) own ends: fame, fortune, fandom, you name it. Those attending as monsters are obviously jealous and will do anything for recognition. Some are stars in their own right, while others are merely bit-part actors in B-grade monster movies, bad TV shows and cheesy Broadway productions. The journalists are anything from critics to fashion writers and gossip columnists, or even worse, paparazzi. The fans are the worst of the lot. They'll do just about anything for an autograph, or to be seen with the stars.

So why am I telling you all this? We still need a volunteer from Celtia, Egypt and the Americas to write a famous monster bio (with pics) for their world. The bios need not be long, no more than 5 -7 paragraphs that combine fact with fiction. Choose one of you world's most famous monsters and highlight his or her attributes in whichever way strikes you as the most fun: an actor's bio, a magazine article, an interview, a first person brag, an ancient scroll, runes on a cave wall... You can also link to sites in the body of the piece, and add sources at the end.

The deadline for the bios is October 23. They will be stand-alone posts on the Boollywood thread, so no need to roleplay the famous monsters - unless you want to.

We also need graphics artists and sponsors! All artists, writers, groups and hoods that sponsor Boollywood will have their personae and plaques prominently displayed in the Boollywood thread header as links in exchange for plaques, fun articles and roleplay posts. Roleplayers can come as anyone who might attend such a gala, and write whatever suits your characters.

If you're interested in writing a bio and/or sponsoring the Gala, or if you have any questions, please contact me at fedelm@poetic.com or leave a message on my scroll.
