During the last days of April-early May, there is in Japan what has become the 'Golden Week', no less than four holidays within that week. The last of these is the Boy's Festival (Tango no Sekku),that echoes the Girl's Festival -or Hinamatsuri- held in March. In 2005, the Boy's Festival, also known as Children's Day (Kodomo no Hi) is celebrated on May 5th. Here is an account of how that day may be lived back there.
