A New Year at AncientWorlds

When Julius Caesar ordered, in 59 BC, that henceforth the proceedings of the Roman Senate would be made public to all Roman citizens in a public newsletter, he laid the foundations for a "record of events," or ACTA DIURNA, that has (with a few short millennia of interruption) continued at AW to this day. Welcome to our new format, created by Editor Laurels Curius!

As the Gold Launch of AncientWorlds took place in late October, 2002, we really are starting our "new year" here, with much going on everywhere.

As you see, each world has its own "World News" page, plus two pages of site-wide news and events. I hope you enjoy it, and my thanks to the editors and world editors who've done their best to catch us all up to date. And no - there isn't a page in this issue for The Americas - their editor was swamped IRL, but promises a bonanza American Page in our December issue!

So, just scroll down a bit and you'll see the World Scrolls just below, which will whisk you to our Worlds faster than the Navitor!
